ALY KAT Summer Species Challenge Rules
1 Competitors to use a maximum of two hooks at any one time.
2 Competitors to use only one rod, at any one time.
3 All baits live, dead, or artificial may be used.

All
fish will count, whether fairly hooked or otherwise, however, if more than one
angler hooks the fish,
the angler with the hook in the fish’s mouth will claim the fish. If both
hooks are in the mouth,
or foul hooked then the fish will be disqualified.

‘Trace Touched Rule’ If a fish is brought to the surface, and the anglers
trace is
‘touched’, then the
fish will count. The skipper will estimate the weight of any fish lost in
this manner, and
award points accordingly.
6 Specimen sizes will relate to the BCFSA list for the current year
7 All fishing will take place on grounds selected by the skipper.

Competitors may check the day’s score sheet at any time during the day, though
the skipper’s
decision remains final.
All fish will count and will be weighed or estimated as accurately as possible on the boat.
COMPETITION POINTS
Each fish will be awarded
points as per the attached list, plus bonus points (below). Fish over specimen
weight will be awarded a further 20 points.
