This is a merged view of the rock ledges to the right of Battery Point.
Most anglers choose to fish along this section, the current will prohibit
fishing
for a time during the session, it can be impossible to fish it.
It goes like a train!
An uptide cast is a very good idea, allowing the sinker to settle somewhere
in front of your chosen spot.
Weed can be a big problem, depending on the wind, and how much is floating
around. The weed and current will pull you out from the bottom.
Larger grip wires may help the sinker to stay on the bottom.
The left side can be fished from the rocks, but it is tackle hungry due to
the
sharp rock edges damaging the line.

Noted for it's quality Cod producing potential, though there are some large conger too!
A very familiar land mark for Bristol Channel Anglers!
