Bossington
- Bossington is a steeply sloping beach made up of rounded boulders and
large pebbles. It can therefore be pretty tackle hungry and you can expect
some losses.
- Situated at the eastern and of Porlock Bay, with Porlock Weir at the other
end. There is parking at the top of the beach, but the way in is a little
rough along a track.
- Take the A39 from Minehead heading out towards Porlock, turn right into
Bossington and negotiate the very picturesque village, carry on along this
road towards the sea. As you start to leave the village there is a junction,
signed left to Porlock. At this point carry on to the track ahead of you,
slowly, its narrow and bumpy. The car parking area is at the end of the
track.

-
This is a large pebble beach and you will expect to loose
some kit.
-
Because it is steeply shelving most anglers fish the
incoming flood tide for a couple of hours and the ebb for an hour or so
after high water.
