Dunster

From the A39 heading west towards Minehead turn right to Dunster Beach and follow the signs to the beach. The road ends at the car park.

You could fish from the boot of your car on a decent tide, or choose to go left towards the holiday chalets and fish from the grass embankment you can see in the photo below

Easy access and parking at Dunster, fishing over sand onto rough broken ground at high water. Tackle losses are minimal.

The Blue Anchor side of the storm drain outfall on Dunster Beach
The outfall is far left of the photo, and will take the flood water from
the river Avill in the winter months. There is a foot bridge just off the beach
                       to cross it.

nb. This venue is suitable for the disabled, with little assistance required.
     Toilet facilities on site.
